This catalogue was published to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of The Weiss Gallery in London with a special exhibition, ‘Cornelius Johnson: Painter to King & Country’, which was held in July 2016.
The exhibition was the first ever large-scale show dedicated to Johnson’s work, an artist whose paintings are familiar to many due to the numerous portraits that hang in notable private and public collections, both in the UK and internationally.
